Job summary

St Mary's Health Care System in Athens, Georgia is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Radiology Department on a full-time day shift. The role supports patient care and imaging workflow.

You will perform MRI procedures under supervision, greet and escort patients, and ensure smooth patient flow while maintaining safety and quality standards. Eligible candidates must have ARRT MR certification or registry eligibility, BLS, and a radiographic technology education; one year hospital MRI

Qualifications

• Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
• Registered MR with ARRT (MR) or registry eligible.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• direct patient flow through the department.
• greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.
