Job summary

Nebraska Health Imaging in Omaha, NE seeks an MRI Technologist to join our outpatient team. This full-time, temporary role offers a 12-week assignment with a Tue–Fri 3:00 PM–10:00 PM and Sat 8:00 AM–8:00 PM schedule.

You will perform MRI procedures and ensure high-quality images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Education includes an associate degree in Radiology; ARRT Radiography certification is required and ARRT MRI certification is required upon hire for IDTF centers; state

Qualifications

Associate degree in Radiology or graduation from a two-year radiologic technology program.
Current ARRT Radiography certification; ARRT MRI certification required upon hire for IDTF centers.
Current state licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.
Reviewing patient history and orders to ensure the appropriate examination is performed.
Positioning patients and selecting appropriate pulse sequences and imaging parameters.
Evaluating images for technical quality.
Providing education and reassurance to patients throughout the examination.
Maintaining accurate patient documentation and digital image records.
Participating in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
