Summary: Conduct procedures and tests using MRI equipment to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.

This role is specifically for Cardiac MRI.

Hours: Tuesday - Friday; 6:30am - 5:00pm

Incentive: This position qualifies for a $15,000 commitment incentive paid over a three-year work commitment. Learn more about the incentive program here.

Responsibilities

1. Patient Identification: Verify patient identity, obtain history, assist patients and family, ensure understanding and safety, and document pregnancy status for women of childbearing age.
2. MRI Technology: Demonstrate knowledge of MRI and anatomy, operate MRI scanners, administer contrast, interpret protocols, troubleshoot equipment and protocols, and maintain certification and continuing education.
3. Contrast Administration: Administer oral and IV contrast safely, establish IV lines, and check lab values before contrast injection.
4. Image Transfer: Understand PACS, transmit images, verify and segment images, manage orders, and ensure accurate billing and patient information.
5. Other Duties: Perform tasks timely, maintain workflow, handle challenging procedures, produce quality images, review patient charts, maintain environment, document incidents, and precept new staff and students.

Other Information

Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited Radiological Science program or within 3 months of application.

Licensure/Certification: Registered with ARRT, ARMRIT, or eligible; obtain advanced MR certification within 1 year; maintain registry and CE requirements; current BLS certification.

Experience and Skills: Relevant education, training, experience, and skills to perform tasks effectively.
