Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging, including cardiac and interoperative MR procedures under radiologist direction. You will ensure patient safety, maintain documentation, and operate HIS/Radiology and EMR systems while providing high-quality patient care.

The role requires 1–3 years MR experience, ARRT MR certification, and BLS. Work is day shift, with adherence to hospital policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: High school, Associates degree preferred or Graduate of Accredited MR program and MR Certification eligible.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Must have applicable MR experience with various advanced magnetic resonance imaging equipment, 1-3 years MR experience in a level 1 trauma facility preferred, previous academic facility experience preferred.
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ARRT, additional certification in MR preferred or Graduate of Accredited MR program. Those without ARRT and Graduates of an accredited MR program will be given twelve (12) months to obtain the MR certification as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance imaging examinations.
• Observes departmental policies, quality assurance, safety and infection control standards.
• Prepares written documentation and uses the Kronos time clock system.
• Uses HIS/Radiology system to input and retrieve information and maintains EMR confidentiality.
• Delivers service excellence to patients and collaborates with team members.
