Job summary

Northside Hospital is recruiting an MRI Technologist to support our imaging team in the Atlanta area. The position focuses on producing high-quality tomographic images for a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting.

You will operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and adhere to QA protocols. The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT eligibility, RT certification, and American Heart Association BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of diagnostic radiology experience, or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) registry in lieu of RT certification.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR).
• One year of training and experience in MRI.

Responsibilities

• Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films for designated portions of the human body across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.
