Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Technologist for afternoon, full-time shifts. You will perform magnetic resonance imaging studies, prepare patients, position them, set imaging parameters, and manage computer processing and image display.

You may assist in protocol development and ensure equipment quality control. The ideal candidate holds ARMRIT or ARRT MRI certification preferred, with two years radiography experience recommended.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
• Two (2) years of experience in Radiography is recommended but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Performs magnetic resonance imaging studies including preparing patients, positioning and setting imaging parameters.
• Performs computer processing and displays images; assists in developing protocol for patient studies.
• Performs quality control procedures on MRI equipment.
