Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging studies, prepare patients, position them, set imaging parameters and process images. The role includes helping develop protocols for patient studies and performing routine quality control on the MRI equipment.

The position is based in Grand Blanc, MI with an evening shift. Certification in ARMRIT or ARRT MRI is preferred, with MRI board certification expected within 12 months if not already held.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare Provider certification required (BCLS).
• Two years of Radiography experience recommended but not mandatory.
• MRI certification preferred; MRI board certification within 12 months of hire if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies including preparing patients, positioning and parameter setup.
• Conduct computer processing and display of imaging results.
• Assist in developing protocols for patient studies.
• Perform quality control procedures on MRI equipment.
