Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited MRI program is required.
• ARRT (R), (MR) and/or ARMRIT credentials are preferred.
• AHA BLS for Health Care Providers is required.
• Two years’ MRI/MRA experience preferred.
• Advanced training in breast MRI and vascular MPR/IVI post processing preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI/MRA procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/skull, thorax, breast and extremities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and pathology to provide quality MRI images.
• Uses PACS and image manipulation tools to enhance images.
• Adjusts MRI parameters to suit each patient.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement and other duties as assigned.
