Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist with ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT in good standing.
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
• MRI registration within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages.
• Educate patients regarding MRI procedures and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions immediately.
• Collaborate with department leadership to meet goals and objectives.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and economical operation.
• Coordinate and answer questions regarding scheduling and informatics.
• Ensure electronic data is sent to the appropriate destination.
• Inspect equipment for proper orientation and service needs.
• Provide copies of imaging studies in a timely manner.
• Perform routine, emergent, invasive, and special procedures per policy.
