Job summary

Biograph in New York City seeks an MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality MR imaging services to patients, prioritizing comfort and safety throughout examinations.

You will interpret orders, explain procedures, position patients, administer contrast when needed, and collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols. ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB certification and MRI experience are required; Siemens equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Proven experience as an MRI Technologist with strong MRI imaging principles.
• Experience with PACS systems (AMBRA preferred).
• Deep familiarity with MRI equipment (Siemens preferred).
• Knowledge of anatomy, MRI physics and IV administration.
• Strong understanding of MRI safety.
• Excellent oral communication for addressing patient questions and collaboration with the care team.
• Organizational and math skills for managing supplies, contrast administration, and inventory.
• Strong problem-solving and observational skills for troubleshooting equipment and ensuring image quality.
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment, Google suite, and health information systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive patient information.
• Exceptional bedside manner and ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
