Qualifications

• Credentialed in radiography (ARRT).
• MRI certification with ARRT (or AMRIT) in MRI.
• Oregon OBMI radiography license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners with precision and safety.
• Select protocols and adjust exposure factors per patient needs.
• Evaluate scans for completeness and diagnostic value.
• Gather additional images or information as needed for radiologist interpretation.
• Use EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to access histories and document parameters.
• Prepare complete case documentation with symptoms, history, and technical parameters.
• Adhere to MRI safety protocols and ALARA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and care teams.
