Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with certification in MRI and CT imaging.
• Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent credential.
• Valid Oregon licensure to perform MRI and CT imaging in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI/CT scans and explain procedures.
• Operate MRI/CT equipment to capture diagnostic images per protocol.
• Monitor patients during imaging and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment for safety and accuracy.
• Collaborate with radiologists to review image quality and adjust techniques.
• Document patient information and imaging procedures in EHRs.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control guidelines.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with imaging practices.
