Job summary

Parkwest Medical Center, part of Covenant Health, is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-field MRI procedures and maintain a safe imaging environment. You will ensure quality imaging, coordinate with radiologists, and support protocol development.

The role requires ARRT MR or equivalent certification, strong patient care, and adherence to safety standards. A sign-on bonus is offered for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Program completed in radiologic technology with ARRT eligibility or MR certification.
• Experience operating high-field MRI equipment and following safety protocols.
• Licensure in ARRT MR or ARMRIT within 1 year of hire.
• Alternative ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS/ARMRIT pathways may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures under physician orders for diagnostic interpretation.
• Operate MRI systems and related equipment to produce high-quality images; ensure timely, accurate scans.
• Maintain MRI safety zones per ACR guidelines and patient safety standards.
• Assist radiologists with protocol development and imaging techniques; educate new staff.
