Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed.
- Administer contrast agents under appropriate supervision and monitor patient response.
- Verify patient identification and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal image quality.
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the procedure.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Certification:
- ARRT (R) and (CT) certification required.
- State licensure (if applicable).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team. The technologist will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing breast disease and related conditions. This role requires strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams using digital mammography equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and accurate imaging.
- Apply radiation safety measures and comply with MQSA and ACR guidelines.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper documentation in PACS/EMR systems.
- Assist radiologists with specialized procedures such as stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot mammography equipment; perform daily quality control checks.
- Educate patients about the procedure and address questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in mammography technology and participate in continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T. (R)(M)).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience (outpatient experience preferred).
- Knowledge of digital mammography systems, PACS, and quality control procedures.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
