Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist in Houston for a full-time role.

You will perform digital mammography exams, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy in a collaborative clinical setting. The ideal candidate brings ARRT and Mammography certifications, a valid Texas MRT license, and strong attention to image quality with excellent patient communication.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (R) and Mammography (M) certifications required.
• Texas MRT license required; CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms per orders and protocols.
• Maintain high image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Document imaging in EMR accurately.
• Provide instructions and compassionate support to patients.
• Assist with scheduling and exam preparation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA and state regulations.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists to support workflow and accuracy.
• Maintain continuing education and stay current on best practices.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality digital mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and diagnostic accuracy. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting dedicated to early detection, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient care.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform digital screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and imaging protocols
• Ensure high image quality while minimizing patient exposure to radiation
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within the electronic medical records system
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with patient scheduling and exam preparation as needed
• Ensure compliance with ACR, FDA, MQSA, and state regulations
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality, reporting any issues promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and the broader clinical team to support workflow and diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain continuing education requirements and stay current on mammography best practices

Required Skills

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred, but strong new graduates will be considered
• CPR certification (BLS) required
