Job summary

Bronson Healthcare’s MRI Department seeks a dedicated MRI Technologist for full-time second-shift coverage at BMH Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. You will operate MRI equipment for diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient safety and high-quality results. You’ll participate in training and QA activities and support staff as needed.

The position offers a 2nd shift, 36 hours per week, with external sign-on up to $5,000 and a retention bonus of $5,000, plus opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Registry eligible or registered RT(MR) and/or ARMRIT certification preferred.
• BLS required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment for diagnostic purposes with independent judgment.
• Provides MRI services for all body parts according to policy and patient age.
• Maintains equipment, troubleshoots issues, and reports problems to supervisor.
