Summa Health is hiring an MRI Technologist at Akron City Campus to operate MR equipment and produce diagnostic images. The shift is 6am-4:30pm, with rotating days off in a full-time 40-hour schedule.

The role emphasizes accurate record handling, timely procedure results, and patient interaction. Cross-training opportunities with CT and ongoing MRI coursework are encouraged to expand expertise within a supportive team environment at Summa Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT registered.
• MRI knowledge or ARRT MRI certification preferred.
• Willing to cross-train CT technologist for MRI training.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce MR images of patients.
• Ensure patient records are properly processed to initiate timely results.
• Perform additional duties as training and skills permit.
