Job summary

Requires ARRT-MRI certification (or NMTCB ARRT-MRI), BLS, and at least 1 year of MRI experience. Academic medical center exposure is preferred; on-site schedule with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• ARRT-MRI certification or NMTCB ARRT-MRI as required for hire.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Minimum of one year of MRI Technologist experience.
• Graduation from a JRC Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology or JRCNMT accredited program in nuclear medicine technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures using MRI scanners and associated equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation throughout imaging.
• Educate and mentor students and other learners in the radiology environment.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.
