Job summary

Novant Health in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an MR Technologist I to assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and safely operating MRI equipment to obtain high-quality scans.

The role requires ARRT MR certification or MR program, an associate degree, and state licensure; one year MR experience preferred. This position supports a collaborative radiology team and patient-centered care.

What We\'re Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required
• NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required
• Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
• Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
• Applicable state license, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
