Good Samaritan Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment following established protocols and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include administering contrast, preparing coils, and maintaining equipment while delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced environment at this full-time hospital setting in Florida.

Formación

• Graduates of accredited Radiologic Technologist programs are eligible.
• ARRT certification required and Florida state license.
• Current CPR (BCLS) certification and ability to inject contrast media per Medical Director's approval.

Responsabilidades

• Operate MRI equipment per protocol.
• Administer intravenous contrast as indicated.
• Prepare RF coils and equipment for patient needs.
• Maintain safety and assist with patient positioning.

Job Summary

Job Shift: Days

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Operates MRI equipment to perform a variety of imaging MRI procedures as indicated by protocol. Intravenous injections of contrast media as indicated. Prepares RF coils, supplies and equipment for patient needs. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Proficient operation of all imaging sequences, safety and emergency quench procedures.
• Organizes work area and maintains supplies.
• Maintains equipment and utilizes protective devices to insure patient and employee safety.
• Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists

Experience: Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

License/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) · Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS) · Current CPR (BCLS) certification · Certification by the Imaging Services Medical Director to inject contrast media
