Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology program with ARRT registration.
• At least one year of experience as a radiologic technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI scans based on patient diagnosis.
• Assist in complex invasive MRI procedures with sterile technique.
• Maintain MRI safety policies and ensure proper documentation.

Position Details

Schedule: Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Compensation: $32.00 - $57.00 per hour plus shift differentials, based on qualifications and experience

Job Summary

Operates MRI equipment and performs diagnostic and therapeutic MRI procedures following established protocols to assist in diagnosis and treatment, adhering to policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI scans, selecting appropriate techniques based on patient diagnosis.
• Assist in complex invasive MRI procedures with sterile technique.
• Start IV sites, assess existing sites, and inject contrast as per protocols.
• Maintain MRI safety policies and equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation, image storage, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervise students as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, graduate of AMA-approved radiology program.
• Registered with ARRT and hold CT license; CPR certification may be required.
• At least one year of radiologic technologist experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of anatomy, medical conditions, and radiological principles.
• Effective communication and patient care skills.
• Operate MRI equipment and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to react calmly in emergencies and maintain BLS certification.

Additional Conditions

May require rotating shifts, night, weekend, or holiday work, and physical activity such as lifting.
