The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders, utilizing sophisticated MRI equipment, taking into account individual patient needs, including special or age-related considerations. Utilizes knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, techniques, and patient treatment to produce optimal images.

Required Qualifications

• Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or Temporary License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Within 6 months: National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Certified MRI Technologist from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
• New graduates: OBMI temporary license upon hire and obtain permanent license within 6 months.
