Qualifications

Description:

The MRI Technologist will operate the magnetic resonance scanner, performing complex anatomical imaging procedures to obtain quality images for diagnostic interpretation. The technologist will adjust scanning protocols based on the anatomy or pathology presented and demonstrate advanced knowledge of MRI/MRA and related clinical indicators. They will perform and direct exams independently, utilizing advanced skills in cross-sectional anatomy, with minimal supervision. The role requires self-motivation, independent judgment, and technical expertise.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; completion of an approved MRI program; an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
• One to two years of MRI Technologist experience preferred.
• Registry by ARRT and advanced registry in MRI within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

Skills:

• Advanced analytical skills to acquire and utilize MRI and MRA knowledge effectively for diagnosis.
• Deep understanding of cross-sectional anatomy to produce high-quality images.
