As an MRI Technologist, your responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, performing high-quality MR studies on site and/or remotely, and communicating effectively with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers, especially in a mobile environment. You may also train and orient new technologists, Patient Coordinators, and MR Technologist Assistants.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection techniques, with possible remote oversight.
• Producing high-quality diagnostic images, operating multiple MR systems if required.
• Using all communication channels to address concerns, solve problems, and resolve conflicts.
• Communicating effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Training and orienting new staff on site and/or remotely.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification, as allowable by contract.
• State license, if applicable.
• CPR Certification.
• Valid driver’s license, if applicable.
• For technologists registered in other modalities: 3 months supervised MRI clinical experience or enrollment in an MRI training program for over 6 months.
• For MR registered technologists: no experience required.
• Ability to work at multiple locations.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
• Local travel may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
• Registry in Magnetic Resonance by ARRT.
• One year of MRI experience.

Physical Requirements:

May involve exposure to weather during patient transport, magnetic fields, blood and bodily fluids, and infectious diseases. More than 50% of the time involves sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive movements. Less than 50% involves stooping, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and transferring patients.
