As an MRI Technologist, your responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, performing high-quality MR studies on site and/or remotely, and communicating effectively with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers, especially in a mobile environment. You may also train and orient new technologists, Patient Coordinators, and MR Technologist Assistants.
May involve exposure to weather during patient transport, magnetic fields, blood and bodily fluids, and infectious diseases. More than 50% of the time involves sitting, standing, walking, and repetitive movements. Less than 50% involves stooping, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and transferring patients.
