Job summary

RAYUS Radiology in Noblesville, IN is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join our Indy Team. You will perform high-quality MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate records while working a Monday–Friday 12:00pm–8:30pm shift.

This role requires AMA-approved radiography training, ARRT/ARMRIT certification, CPR, and state licensure as applicable. Join a supportive team with a strong patient-focus and pathways for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures independently.
• Imaging specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations with attention to patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and position patients; explain procedures and obtain patient identifiers.
• Set up and adjust MRI parameters; ensure images meet physician needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records in RIS and adhere to safety protocols.
• Keep work area clean and equipment disinfected; manage supplies as needed.

We are hiring a full-time, MRI Tech to join our Indy Team in Noblesville! This location is just across the street from Hamilton Town Center and is one of the few open MRI scanners in the city.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week; shifts Monday-Friday, 12:00pm - 8:30pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) Patient MRI Imaging

1. Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure
2. Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
3. Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeated scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
4. Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
5. Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
6. Maintains an orderly and clean work area including sanitized equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and team members
7. Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
8. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements

(5%) MRI Department Support

1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
3. Assists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable

(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

Required:

1. High School diploma, or equivalent
2. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
3. ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need
4. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
5. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
6. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently
7. Certification in imaging specialty
