Job Description

The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist is responsible for performing all Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures, including MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography), MRV (Magnetic Resonance Venography), and MIPS. The role involves close patient and physician contact.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved two-year program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum of three years’ Radiologic Technology experience, with one year in MRI (preferred).
  • New York State License in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • Time management skills.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in the use and troubleshooting of the Teleradiology system.
