Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: New York, NY

Pay: $70/hr | $595/per shift

Days: Sundays ONLY

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with departmental protocols and state regulations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with department protocols and physician instructions.
• Operate and prepare specialized MRI equipment.
• Assist, prepare, and position patients for MRI exams.
• Use clinical judgment to obtain diagnostic-quality images tailored to patient needs.
• Educate patients on procedure details and safety requirements.
• Review MRI safety questionnaires and follow all safety protocols before scanning.
• Clear patients prior to transition into MRI Zones 3 and 4.

Education:

• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program

Licensure & Certification:

• New York State License (L.R.T.)
• NY State IV Certification
• ARRT Certification – MRI
• BLS Certification
