Job summary

TriStar Summit Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform various imaging procedures and ensure quality patient care. This role involves facilitating MRI department operations and assisting the MRI Supervisor with daily tasks.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program and holds ARRT registration. Comprehensive benefits including tuition assistance and retirement plans are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• MRI registered or eligible for MRI registration within six months of hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of experience preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. MRI Technologists are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Facilitate the overall operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including:
  • Balancing budgetary constraints, equipment, and personnel needs.
  • Implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring exceptional care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
• Possess the ability to assess and address data reflective of the patient's age-specific needs.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
