Job summary

TriStar Summit Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to join its radiology team in Nashville. The role focuses on performing MRI procedures and supporting daily department operations to ensure high-quality patient imaging and care.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT recognized (Radiography and MR) or ARMRIT, with a radiology program background and BLS within 30 days. Prior MRI experience is preferred; PRN schedule supports flexible, on-site work in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• (ARRT-RT(R) Radiography
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging or (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists
• Two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with the day-to-day operation of the department, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement, and exceptional care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician. MRI Technologists are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
