Job summary

Metro MRI Center in Moline, IL is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate high-field 3T and 1.5T scanners, perform MRI examinations, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

You will train new technologists, review images for quality, and collaborate with licensed practitioners to support accurate diagnoses. ARRT/ARMRIT certification preferred; on-call within 45 minutes; competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification preferred; 1–3 years of MRI tech experience ideal
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI physics required
• BLS certification and IV skills necessary
• Willingness to respond to on-call locations within 45 minutes

Metro MRI Center has provided affordable Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services to the Quad City area (Moline, Rock Island, Davenport, and Bettendorf) and the surrounding communities since 1990. Following the opening of its site in Moline with a high-field MRI scanner, Metro began a new era of diagnostic services in its community, offering the highest level in quality care using the most advanced imaging technology available. Position Summary:

• Working on high field 3T and 1.5T Scanners
• Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during care, and reviews images to provide quality diagnostic imaging.
• The MRI Technologist is responsible for training and assisting new MRI Technologists.

Desired Professional Skills and Experience:

• Advanced MR Registry preferred (ARRT or ARMRIT) or must obtain within 1 year of hire, although preferred 1-3 years of experience as MRI Tech
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge of Principles and Physics of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• BLS and IV Skills
• Able to respond to on-call locations within 45 minutes

The hourly range for this position is $32.98-$49.47.
