Job summary

Metro MRI Center in the Quad-City area seeks an MRI Technologist to operate high-field 3T and 1.5T scanners, perform MRI examinations, ensure patient safety, and provide quality diagnostic imaging. You will train and assist new technologists.

Required ARRT or ARMRIT registry (or within 1 year), 1–3 years' experience preferred, knowledge of MRI physics and anatomy, and on-call responsiveness within 45 minutes. Evening/weekend hours and a competitive benefits package available.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT registry preferred or must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• 1–3 years of experience as MRI Technologist preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI principles and physics, anatomy, and safety protocols.
• BLS and IV skills required.

Position Summary

• Working on high field 3T and 1.5T Scanners
• Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during care, and reviews images to provide quality diagnostic imaging.
• The MRI Technologist is responsible for training and assisting new MRI Technologists.

Desired Professional Skills And Experience

• Advanced MR Registry preferred (ARRT or ARMRIT) or must obtain within 1 year of hire, although preferred 1-3 years of experience as MRI Tech
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
• Knowledge of Principles and Physics of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• BLS and IV Skills
• Able to respond to on-call locations within 45 minutes

Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $32.98-$49.47. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
