Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas is seeking a qualified MRI Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Shawnee Mission facility. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnoses.

The role requires state licensure, BLS/CPR, and ARRT MRI certification. The site offers full-time hours, day shifts, and comprehensive benefits supporting well‑being and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients and family members about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions, promoting comfort and cooperation throughout the exam.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using immobilization and coil placement techniques to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material following safety guidelines and monitors patients for adverse reactions.
• Performs and documents daily system quality control (QC) checks in compliance with departmental policies and regulatory requirements.

Pay Range:

$29.04 - $54.02
