Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for our Nashville, TN location. You will perform MRI examinations, prioritize patient safety, and deliver high quality diagnostic images while maintaining a clean, well-organized work area.

Strong communication with patients and radiologists is essential. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration, state licensure as applicable, CPR certification, and an active driver’s license.

• ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration required.
• State license as required.
• CPR certification currently active.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
• Produce high quality diagnostic MRI images.
• Assist in preparing for transport and orders supplies as needed.
• Maintain clean unit and participate in mid-day moves when required.
• Communicate effectively with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists as needed.
