Shields Health has an exciting opportunity for a MRI Technologist to work full-time or part-time with flexible options.

Schedule Options:

1. 36 hours (paid 40) - Hyannis: Saturday, Sunday 7am-7:30pm & Monday 10am-10:30pm
2. 31 hours - Hyannis: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:30am-3pm, Friday 2pm-10:30pm
3. 20 hours - Wilkens: Friday Wilkens 6:30am-3pm, Saturday 6:30am-7pm Wilkens

The Role:

• Follow policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Inform patients about their exams.
• Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications.
• Properly position and comfort patients.
• Maintain communication during exams.
• Perform scans according to protocols.
• Administer intravenous contrast when required.
• Complete documentation and record data accurately.
• Provide images/CDs and forward to radiologists.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and supplies.
• Adhere to licensing and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications:

Prior MRI experience is required. Certifications in MRI/ARRT/CPR are necessary, along with excellent interpersonal skills. Additional requirements include:

• Extended computer use
• Assisting patients with mobility difficulties
• Participation in call schedules at inpatient locations
• Lifting at least 25 pounds (physical ability can be accommodated)
