18 Hours, Days, Weekends Required, Part-Time, Non-Benefit Eligible

Position Summary
  • The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures under supervision, adhering to departmental policies and maintaining technical competency.
  • Maintain professional relationships, participate in education, safety initiatives, and quality activities.
Responsibilities
  • Follow policies, communicate effectively with staff and patients, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate patient flow, participate in quality assurance, perform quality control on equipment, and ensure proper documentation.
  • Establish IV access, administer contrast media, and handle radiology pharmaceuticals safely.
Required Knowledge & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: MRI training and experience, current BLS, ARRT certification in MRI or eligibility, and radiography certification.
  • Proficiency with imaging hardware/software, hospital systems, and communication tools.
  • Ability to use computers, communicate effectively, position patients physically, and manipulate imaging equipment.
