Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care in Edmonds, WA seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures with accuracy and compassion. You will collaborate with Radiologists and the radiology team to support clinical workflows, maintain equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort during scans.

The role requires completing an ARRT-recognized Radiology Technology program, licensure in Washington, BLS certification, and ongoing MRI credentialing within a year.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiology Technology program recognized by ARRT.
• Secondary training in cross-sectional anatomy.
• Licensure as a Washington Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification and ARRT registration in Radiography.
• Within one year of hire, MR imaging technologist certification or equivalent.
• Preferred: at least one year of radiology experience with MRI.

Role Overview

The MRI Technologist performs high-quality MRI procedures across diverse patient populations, collaborating with Radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses. This role requires compassionate, efficient care and technical expertise in radiology and cross-sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans and ensure optimal image quality
• Work with healthcare professionals to support diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols
• Provide patient-centered care, addressing patient needs and concerns

Qualifications & Skills

• Completion of accredited Radiology Technology program recognized by ARRT
• Secondary training in cross-sectional anatomy
• Licensure as a Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and registration with ARRT in Radiography
• Within one year of hire, certification as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist or equivalent
• Preferred: At least one year of radiology experience with MRI background
