Job summary

CivicMinds, Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures across pediatric to geriatric patients using advanced MRI equipment. You will screen, position, and educate patients, administer IV contrast within scope of practice, and select appropriate imaging sequences.

The role requires ARRT, NJ General Radiography license, BLS, and at least 1 year of MRI experience, with opportunities for career growth and a commitment to safety and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent (A.A.S.).
• Active New Jersey General Radiography License is required.
• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

• Select appropriate imaging sequences, coils, and techniques.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Inspect images for quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Operate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation.
• Follow all MRI safety protocols and established clinical procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:
