Job summary

Hmixray in Edison, NJ is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced radiology environment. You will guide patients, administer contrast when needed, and respond to physician inquiries while maintaining strict protocol adherence.

The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification and a state license if applicable, plus BLS. Prior diagnostic imaging experience is preferred, with wellness benefits and retirement matching included.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• Must have BLS certification.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

You Will:

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification
