Description

  • Operates MRI equipment to produce scans for diagnostic exams in the MR suite, providing quality patient care. Communicates and explains procedures to patients and families.
  • Adheres to all magnetic safety requirements. Completes all paperwork, manages supplies, and stocks rooms.
  • Performs related duties as required. Ensures proper patient preparation and provides quality care during procedures.
  • Communicates patient needs and responses effectively. Maintains complete and accurate documentation of patient care.
  • Ensures proper operation of imaging and specialty equipment. Keeps abreast of medical device uses.
  • Assumes responsibility for direct patient care during procedures and supports patient and family education. May assist in research activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; ARRT registration required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification per American Heart Association standards.
