Job summary

Medical City Decatur is hiring an MRI Technologist to perform quality MRI scans in a patient‑focused environment. You will follow physician orders, ensure safety, and participate in call coverage and departmental initiatives.

Requirements include an RT or ARRT MR certification, TMB license, and 1+ year MRI experience preferred, with BCLS within 30 days. Decatur, TX location and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer or related degree.
• ARRT-MR or ARRT-R within 6 months of start date.
• Medical Radiologic Technologist License (TMB).
• +1 year MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality MRI procedures following physician orders.
• Maintains quality patient care and excellent customer service.
• Participates in call/holiday coverage and department initiatives.
• Maintains competencies and knowledge of procedures; participates in QC.
• Completes records and documentation; adheres to radiation safety.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs quality MRI procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Medical Radiologic Technologist License (TMB)
• +1 year of MRI experience preferred
