Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a full-time MRI technologist at the Dearborn Care Center to perform diagnostic MR exams with appropriate imaging techniques. The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care in line with Beaumont philosophy.

External hires and internal grads in student roles may receive a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. The position requires multiple ARRT/NMTCB certifications and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography or nuclear medicine technology program.
• 1 year of relevant experience; 1–3 years preferred.
• Multiple ARRT or NMTCB certifications listed as acceptable upon hire.
• BLS certification required or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MR exams using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques.
• Follow the Patient and Family Centered Care approach at all times.

Education

Associate’s degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology

JRCERT Accredited Radiography program

ARRT MRI certification (preferred or required)

ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification

ARRT Sonographer or NMTCB certifications (as listed)

Scope of Work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent. Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program or the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) Required.
• 1 year of relevant experience. 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
• CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI)-ARMRIT Certification Upon Hire Preferred or
