Job Description

Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Concord, North Carolina

Schedule: 36 hours/week

Shift: 3x12 Days

Pay Range: $2,595 Weekly Gross

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced MRI Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic MRI procedures in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a high-volume imaging environment, excellent patient care skills, and experience operating GE 1.5T (Signa Excite) or equivalent MRI systems.

You’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional diagnostic imaging services while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures as ordered, maintaining high imaging quality
• Prepare, position, and educate patients; assess for contraindications
• Administer IV contrast using aseptic technique when required
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment and related technology
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Follow established safety protocols related to MRI and contrast use
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of MRI experience in a high-volume setting
• Proficiency with GE 1.5T systems (Signa Excite preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED required (associate’s degree preferred)
• BLS Certification (AHA only) – Required
• ARRT (R) – Required; ARRT (MR) – Preferred
• Venipuncture Certification – Required
