Job description

Our innovative and mission-driven client is seeking an Instructional Technologist to support the development of training programs and materials for a high-profile clean energy demonstration project. This role will be instrumental in building out the processes, systems, and instructional content necessary to launch and operate a new plant training department. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, regulators, and partners to deliver high-quality, accredited training programs for plant operations personnel.

Location : Remote

Length of Assignment : 12+ months

Responsibilities :

Design and implement training programs aligned with regulatory and company standards.

Lead accreditation efforts and ensure compliance with applicable codes and criteria.

Apply the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) to develop and maintain training content.

Update training materials based on plant design, procedure, and process changes.

Collaborate across departments and contribute to the Training Advisory Committee.

Develop exams, evaluations, and individualized training paths for various learning environments.

Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement efforts.

Maintain training documentation and support planning, budgeting, and goal setting.

Key Qualifications and Skills :

Bachelor’s in education, instructional design, or related field.

5+ years of experience in industrial or technical training development.

Knowledge of regulatory or best-practice training frameworks.

Skilled in digital content creation and instructional technologies.

Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to training excellence.

Effective collaborator with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Compensation Range : $55.00 - $80.00 per hour. This range represents the estimated low end and high end of the compensation range for this position. All experience levels considered.
