Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for the licensed practitioners' use
• Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education
• Select and operate magnetic resonance system and related equipment
• Maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics
• Recognize essential conditions for successful completion of procedure
• Provide appropriate patient care
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential functions:
• Minimum of graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
• Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program in medical imaging or equivalent
• Current unrestricted NYS License
• Additional education in sectional human anatomy a plus
• Experience in medical imaging
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to travel to other OrthoNY locations. Reliable transportation is essential
• Pay is based on years of experience
