CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to provide coverage at Ooltewah Outpatient Imaging and across hospital campuses. You will perform MRI exams, prepare patients, operate advanced MRI equipment, and ensure safety and image quality.

Candidate must graduate from an accredited Radiology program, be ARRT registered in Radiography and MRI, and hold CPR. MRI program may be preferred; 1 year MR experience is desirable.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

PRN

Provide coverage at Ooltewah Outpatient Imaging & across hospital campuses

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images. To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.

• Uses two patient identifiers
• Compares doctor’s order to requisition for accuracy
• Assesses patient for possible artifacts and takes appropriate action to prevent interference with image
• Routinely demonstrates the ability to prioritize workload.
• Coordinates multiple exams into the proper sequence to ensure no conflicts of exams.
• Assesses the doctor’s order and the patient’s diagnosis to determine optimal images.

Job Requirements

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program and, upon hire and
