RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ. This per diem, day-shift position requires active New Jersey radiologic technologist licensure, ARRT certification, and 1–3 years of radiology experience.

You will perform high-quality MRI procedures and ensure patient comfort. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accuracy, with opportunities for professional growth within a supportive imaging department and a focus on continuous improvement

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Active New Jersey Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT certification.
• 1–3 years of general radiology experience.
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Assists Physicians as needed.
• Assists in the orientation of new staff and/or students.
• Competent in the use of RIS & PACS system, and other IT programs utilized.
• Maintains a neat, clean and stocked work area.
• Obtains proper medical history and insures accurate patient demographic and medical information.
• Performs all standard techniques for procedure protocols.
• Recognizes notable structures and differentiates normal from abnormal, identifying artifacts.
• Reports equipment problems to supervising Technologist.
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Assists Physicians as needed

• Recognizes the significant of all structures visualized and is able to differentiate normal from abnormal and recognizes artifacts. Understands when to seek advice
• Reports equipment problems to supervising Technologist
• May perform other duties as assigned or directed by management.
