St Mary’s Health Care System in Athens, GA is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Radiology Department. This full-time, day-shift role involves direct patient care and coordinating imaging workflows.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR licensure or registry
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Graduate of AMA-Approved Radiographic Technology program
• One year MRI Technologist experience preferred

MRI Technologist to work in the Radiology Department at St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia.

What You Will Do

• Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• direct patient flow through the department,
• greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.

What You Will Need

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered MR or registry eligible with ARRT (MR)
• Must have current BLS thru American Heart Association.
• Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
• Experience: One year experience in hospital environment as MRI Technologist preferred.
