Job summary

St Mary’s Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for PRN, part-time daytime shifts in the Radiology Department. The role involves direct patient care, coordinating patient flow, and assisting in imaging procedures.

The candidate should be ARRT MR registry eligible, with current BLS, and a graduate of an AMA-Approved Radiographic technology program. Hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered or registry eligible with ARRT (MR).
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Graduate of AMA-Approved Radiographic technology program.
• One year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• Direct patient flow through the department.
• Greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.

MRI Technologist, PRN - in the Radiology Department at St Mary's Hospital.

What You Will Do

• Under the direction of the technical supervisor/team leader, the imaging assistant is responsible for direct patient care activities and clerical duties as assigned by MRI.
• direct patient flow through the department,
• greet and escort/transport patients within the imaging department and back to the patient room or Emergency Department.

What You Will Need

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: registered or registry eligible with ARRT (MR)
• Must have current BLS thru American Heart Association.
• Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
• Experience: One year experience in hospital environment preferred and to demonstrate Radiological technology competence
