When you join RadNet as a MRI Technical Assistant, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century, aligning all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
You Will:
- Take accurate patient medical history with MRI safety and record them in the patient’s chart and/or electronic medical records system for patient flow and accurate encounter documentation.
- Accurately maintain and record patient communication during exams.
- Work with MRI technologist to prepare, set up, position, and monitor patients while in MRI suite.
- Stock and maintain all supply levels for assigned area; order and restock following site guidelines/protocols.
- Comply with all HIPAA guidelines, safety guidelines for a clinical environment, and use appropriate PPE and universal precautions.
- Organize and assist with patient flow throughout the facility.
- Work collaboratively with all levels of imaging center staff.
- Assist in obtaining prior imaging and diagnostic records for radiologists and technologists.
- Manage time efficiently to maintain patient and schedule flow as directed.
- Support technologists with procedures, including coil setup, schedule maintenance, and clean-up of MRI suite.
- Identify and communicate issues to MRI technologists and management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant MRI control room; decontaminate equipment and coils as per procedures.
- Participate in meetings, seminars, and training as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects.
- Safeguard patient property and health information.
- Safeguard medications and handle patient financial information responsibly.
- Maintain professional behavior, respecting patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients and families.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success in This Role, You Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical setting
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- BLS certification
