Responsibilities
- Take accurate patient medical history with MRI safety and record them in the patient’s chart and/or electronic medical records system; for patient flow and accurate encounter documentation.
- Accurately maintain and record patient communication during exams.
- Work with MRI technologist to prepare, set up, position, and monitor patients while in MRI suite.
- Stock and maintain all supply levels for assigned area; order and restock following site guidelines / protocols.
- Comply with all HIPAA guidelines, safety guidelines, and use appropriate PPE and universal precautions.
- Organize and assist patient flow throughout the facility.
- Work with all levels of imaging center staff.
- Assist in obtaining patient’s prior imaging and other diagnostic records.
- Manage time efficiently to maintain patient and schedule flow.
- Support technologists with procedures as needed, including coil setup, maintenance, and cleanup.
- Identify and communicate issues to MRI technologists and/or management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant MRI control room; decontaminate equipment as per protocols.
- Attend meetings, seminars, and training as required.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete all tasks and projects as assigned.
- Safeguard patient property and health information.
- Safeguard medications according to policies and legal requirements.
- Respect company property and patient information.
- Exhibit professional behavior, respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
- Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients and families.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year experience in a medical setting.
- Proficient in medical terminology.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to interact effectively with staff and patients.
- BLS certification.
